The Thai beauty market continues to grow strongly and is gaining widespread popularity, driven by an expanding target audience. Working women, Gen Z, LGBTQ+ individuals, and men are increasingly turning to beauty clinics for self-care. According to Kasikorn Research Center, while the Thai beauty and cosmetic surgery industry will face fierce competition, it remains bolstered by this diverse customer base.
The most popular aesthetic treatments currently focus on facial care. Although surgical services still hold a larger market share, the growing popularity of non-surgical procedures is noteworthy because they offer greater convenience and effective skincare without requiring a long recovery period. Consequently, surgical procedures have trended downward from 79% to 74% compared to the previous year, while non-surgical treatments are on the rise, increasing from 21% to 26%. Facial and neck lifting are the most sought-after treatments.
These statistics align with the success of WONTECH ASIA, THAILAND over the past year, reflecting strong business growth in the Thai market, particularly for the Oligio and Oligio X product lines. To date, the Oligio Series has set a record by surpassing 150 million shots and achieving over 1,000 device installations across Thailand within just two years, demonstrating the popularity of skin-tightening devices and the strong reception toward this innovative standard.
Mr. Isaac Jang, General Manager of WONTECH ASIA Co., Ltd., stated that the success of Oligio and Oligio X in Thailand is built on three key pillars. The first is a robust ‘Partner Network’ comprising over 1,000 clinics nationwide, which represents the strongest network in Southeast Asia and is built on trust, standardized efficacy, and long-term relationships. The second is ‘Clinical Education’ through Wontech Academy, where the company continuously organizes expert-led (KOL) training sessions via W.I.S.E. (Wontech Asia Insight Sharing Experience) events. These sessions ensure specialized doctors nationwide can exchange knowledge and procedural techniques, consistently elevating aesthetic innovation standards. The final pillar is ‘Proven Results’, supported by systematically documented clinical outcome data covering RF, HIFU, and EBD technologies. This evidence reinforces partner confidence for sustained growth and supports the belief that Thailand will continue to set the regional benchmark moving forward.
The key strengths of both ‘Oligio’ and ‘Oligio X’ lie in their Monopolar RF technology, which prioritizes patient comfort. They also feature two distinct modes, allowing physicians to adjust parameters to best suit individual skin conditions and personal requirements.
Currently, the primary customer base consists of working women aged 25 to 40. This demographic prioritizes self-confidence in their professional careers and seeks proactive self-care early on. According to statistics from partner clinics, these patients primarily focus on facial contouring for better definition, spending approximately 15,000 to 30,000 baht per session. They look for non-surgical treatments that suit an active lifestyle and allow them to maintain a normal daily routine. Additionally, there is a steady upward trend among the ‘Silver Age’ demographic, who are showing increasing interest in skin-tightening devices.
Meanwhile, Miss Rattama Kamthoncharoen, Business Director of WONTECH ASIA Co., Ltd., added that WONTECH ASIA, THAILAND has selected ‘PP-Krit Amnuaydechkorn’ as the brand presenter for the ‘Oligio X The X-MODE’ program. He was chosen because his image and identity directly reflect the brand’s target audience. Furthermore, he is health-conscious, dedicated to self-care, and possesses a distinct personal style. This aligns perfectly with X-MODE’s concept of ‘eXtra Lift In Your Own Way’, a refreshing lifting experience that delivers firm, defined results, uniquely tailored to you.
“We expect this launch to grow Oligio X brand awareness across a broader consumer base, especially among the younger generation who are becoming increasingly interested in preventive self-care. From a business perspective, we are targeting a 30% growth in both device sales and the number of partner clinics this year. We maintain ongoing development plans to expand our reach to serve more clients while providing advanced training for more physicians.”
