Colestia showcases collaborative IP creation ecosystem at Thailand Content Market 2026 Platform presents pathways connecting creators, intellectual property, fan communities and regulated funding channels ahead of its main-stage forum on July 22

Colestia is showcasing its collaborative IP creation ecosystem at Thailand Content Market 2026, giving creators, intellectual-property owners, industry professionals and prospective partners an opportunity to explore how Thai creative projects can be developed through structured rights management, transparent project preparation, fan engagement and access to appropriately regulated funding channels.

Thailand Content Market 2026 is organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Creative Economy Agency (CEA).

At its exhibition booth, Colestia is presenting the key components required to turn creative concepts into commercially prepared intellectual property. These include clear ownership and chain-of-title documentation, project and production readiness, community participation, reward programmes, commercial partnerships and collaboration with professional service providers and authorised financial intermediaries.

Visitors can also learn how the proposed ecosystem is intended to connect creators and IP owners with fan communities, commercial partners and potential sources of capital, while maintaining a clear distinction between community-based participation and regulated investment activities.

Main-stage forum to examine new funding pathways for Thai IP

As part of the event programme, Colestia will host a main-stage forum on July 22 under the theme “From Fanbase to Collaborative IP Creation: Unlocking Thai IP through the Power of Creators, Fans and Digital Capital Markets.”

The programme is scheduled to open with keynote remarks by Miss Saratsanun Unnopporn, Secretary to the Minister of Culture. In her vision statement, Thailand’s film and digital-content industries have strong potential to generate income and employment while promoting Thai identity internationally as an important source of soft power. The Ministry of Culture aims to position these industries as key drivers of the country’s creative economy under the “Content Thailand” initiative, supported by collaboration among government agencies, regulators, the private sector, creators, educational institutions and investors. She highlighted the need for an ecosystem that strengthens knowledge, rights protection, access to funding and commercial development, with systematic intellectual-property management playing a central role in increasing creators’ bargaining power, building investor confidence and enabling Thai content to expand sustainably into international markets.

The forum will bring together representatives from government agencies, capital-market regulators, digital fundraising specialists, academia and Thailand’s film industry to examine how intellectual property, project transparency and responsible fundraising structures can help expand opportunities for Thai creative content.

Confirmed participants include Isariya Sangaroon, Trade Officer, Professional Level, Department of Intellectual Property, and Ms Muslin Chutchaikulsiri, Director of Digital Fund Raising Policy Department, Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand.

They will be joined by industry and academic specialists, including filmmakers and professionals involved in digital fundraising, project structuring and the commercial development of creative intellectual property.

The discussion will cover intellectual-property commercialisation, rights management, investor protection, project readiness and the role of technology and fan communities in supporting films and other creative projects.

Connecting creators, supporters and responsible funding channels

Prachya Pinkaew, Co-CEO of Colestia and internationally recognised film director, is among the industry participants contributing to the platform’s development. Colestia is intended to help Thai film and intellectual-property projects present their creative vision, ownership structure, production plan, commercial model and project progress in a more systematic manner.

Colestia aims to connect creators, IP owners, supporters, professional service providers and potential funding channels within what it describes as a collaborative IP creation ecosystem.

Creators would be able to develop and present projects using structured, decision-useful information. Fans could participate through communities, rewards, project activities and progress updates, while prospective investors using properly authorised channels would be able to review relevant project, financial and risk information.

Where a project involves a digital-token offering or another regulated investment activity, the offering would be structured through an appropriately authorised service provider, such as an ICO portal approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission, and conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Approval of a service provider should not be interpreted as a guarantee of any specific project, investment or return.

The platform distinguishes fan participation and community benefits from regulated investment activities. Colestia said transparent disclosures, documented rights, clearly defined uses of funds and realistic communication of commercial risks would remain essential to any future fundraising model.

By combining project preparation, rights management, community engagement and access to professional partners, Colestia aims to help Thai creative projects build audiences, strengthen their commercial readiness and pursue wider domestic and international opportunities.

Mr Jirasin Khanitthanant, Chief Executive Officer of Flips Innovative Co Ltd and Co-CEO of Colestia, said creative projects seeking access to new forms of financing must be well prepared, with clear project information, an appropriate structure, a detailed use-of-funds plan, a credible revenue model, clearly defined stakeholder rights and an effective investor-communications approach. Relevant service providers play an important role in reviewing the proposed structure and process to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
