Bangkok Airways (PG) has announced a new frequent flyer partnership between its loyalty programme, FlyerBonus, and Etihad Guest, the award-winning loyalty programme of Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE. The partnership allows members of both programmes to redeem rewards across each airline’s network, offering greater flexibility and expanded travel opportunities worldwide.
Under the new collaboration, FlyerBonus members can now redeem points for travel on Etihad Airways’ extensive global network via Abu Dhabi, connecting to destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and North America. Members can also enjoy access to Etihad’s growing portfolio of destinations, including Palma de Mallorca, Krakow, and Salalah.
At the same time, Etihad Guest members can redeem miles across Bangkok Airways’ domestic and regional network, including popular leisure destinations such as Samui, Sukhothai, Siem Reap and Luang Prabang.
Ms. Amornrat Kongsawat, Acting Vice President – Sales and Marketing of Bangkok Airways PCL, said, “We are delighted to partner with Etihad Airways to further enhance the value and benefits of our FlyerBonus programme. This collaboration reflects our commitment to offering members more meaningful travel experiences and broader redemption opportunities across a truly global network. Through Etihad Airways’ extensive international connectivity, FlyerBonus members can now enjoy seamless access to destinations across Europe, the Middle East and beyond, while continuing to experience the distinctive boutique service of Bangkok Airways.”
Mark Potter, Managing Director Etihad Guest, said, “Partnering with Bangkok Airways further enhances the value of the Etihad Guest programme creating more opportunities for members to redeem their miles on every journey, wherever they choose to fly. Thailand is one of our most valued and in-demand markets, this partnership gives our members seamless access to some of the region’s most desirable destinations while redeeming Etihad Guest Miles along the way. We are equally excited to welcome FlyerBonus members onboard Etihad and introduce them to our signature Emirati hospitality, taking them beyond borders across the global Etihad network.”
The partnership comes as Etihad continues to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia and expand connectivity between the region and Abu Dhabi. Bangkok remains one of Etihad’s most popular destinations, currently served by six daily flights. From October 2026, the airline will introduce its flagship Airbus A380 on one of its Bangkok services, significantly increasing capacity ahead of the peak winter travel season.
FlyerBonus members can redeem points across a wide range of Etihad-operated destinations and enjoy enhanced travel experiences through Etihad’s award-winning products and services, including premium cabin offerings and seamless transit through Abu Dhabi.
The new partnership further reinforces Bangkok Airways’ commitment to delivering greater value, flexibility and exclusive travel privileges to FlyerBonus members while expanding access to world-class travel experiences across an increasingly connected global network.
