Ginger, the popular all-day dining outlet at Holiday Inn Bangkok, once again marks Thai New Year this April with special Happy Songkran Holiday Lunch and Dinner Buffets designed to bring family and friends together in a spirit of celebration.
While boasting a great selection of international favourites that include a live pasta station, it is the vast array of Thai dishes showcasing the country’s regional culinary traditions that takes center stage. On the menu are piquant specialties from the mountainous north and northeast, courtly dishes that perfectly illustrate the cuisines of the central plains, and fiery offerings from the provinces of the deep south. Young and old with a sweet tooth will also appreciate the goodies on offer at a live Thai dessert station.
The action in the restaurant’s open kitchen provides culinary theatre in a true feast for the senses, while Songkran traditions are also upheld with a Rod Nam Dum Hua Ceremony in which youngsters pour water gently over the hands of their elders as a mark of respect, available from 13 to 15 April 2026, 12.00 to 14.00 hours.
