Amid global oil price volatility driven by tensions in the Middle East, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited continues to offer E85 gasohol, an alternative fuel containing a high proportion of ethanol. The fuel helps reduce reliance on fossil fuels while lowering energy expenses for motorists whose vehicles support E85. Bangchak currently offers E85 at 81 service stations nationwide. The current price is THB 25.79 per liter (Bangkok price, excluding local taxes), significantly lower than other gasohol products, about THB 2 per liter cheaper than E20 and about THB 5 per liter cheaper than Gasohol 91 and 95, providing a more economical option for consumers.
At the same time, Bangchak is also expanding its Self-Service fuel stations to offer additional cost-saving options. Fuel prices at Self-Service stations are THB 0.30 per litre lower than at regular stations. The initiative also helps distribute demand, reduce congestion during peak hours, and improve convenience for motorists. Bangchak has recently increased the number of Self-Service stations to a total of 40 locations.
